The 2007-08 school year will bring many memorable experiences to you. Your teachers are prepared with exciting lessons and are anxious to present them to you. In addition to the academic challenge you will have at Bassett High School this year, you are encouraged to participate in as many after school activities and sports as possible. Involvement in school activities leads to better grades, and I personally want to see you achieve in and out of school.

 

This year BHS will focus on respect. Remember the 3 Rs: respect yourself, respect others, and respect your school community. Your attitude toward school and how you relate to your peers is so very important in your success as a student. The single most important thing that you can do to fulfill the 3 Rs is to attend school every day on time. I challenge you to improve your attendance and see how much better your grades will be.
