Graduation Requirements
To graduate from Bassett High School, a student must earn a minimum of 220 credits in grade nine through twelve. Students who fall behind in credits or experience attendance or behavior problems may be referred to the Nueva Vista Continuation School program at Bassett High School
Bassett High School Graduation requirements adopted by the Bassett Unified School District are designed to be completed within a four-year period of time. Students not meeting all graduation requirements in this time should seek alternatives to meeting their educational goals through the adult school program or the Equivalent Diploma program. Required Classes The following courses must be completed with a passing grade: English 40 credits 4 years Math 30 credits 3 years Modern World History 10 credits 1 year U.S. History 10 credits 1 year Economics/U.S. Government 10 credits 1 year Physical Science 10 credits 1 year Biological Science 10 credits 1 year Physical Education 20 credits 2 years Foreign Language or Fine Arts 10 credits 1 year Computer Literacy 5 credits 1/2 year Health 5 credits 1/2 year
Electives 60 credits In addition:
Grade Level by Credits 0 - 54 credits Freshman 55 - 109 credits Sophomore 110 - 164 credits Junior 165- 220 credits Senior |
